Ungewöhnlich lange, nämlich fast einen ganzen Monat, lief die Beta für das nun offiziell veröffentlichte Update für den Steam-Client. Dafür gibt es auch eine Menge Bugfixes und ein kleines neues Feature. Mit letzterem ist die Information gemeint, die anzeigt, wenn ein Download abgeschlossen wurde. Die Bugfixes werden unter anderem auch die Käufer des Steamworks-Spiels Empire: Total War freuen, die Probleme bei der Installation hatten. Der komplette Changelog:

Wie immer bedankt sich Valve bei allen Testern, die an der Beta-Phase teilgenommen haben. Das finale Update wird automatisch bei allen Steam-Nutzern runtergeladen und installiert.
Valve hat noch einen weiteren Patch nachgeschoben, der Probleme mit dem Steamworks-Spiel Empire: Total War beheben soll. Der Changelog:

der eine kommt net aufn server, da der als offline angezeigt wird
bei dem andern is das game unaviable
und bei mir geht die ingame-steam-community net -.-
die ersten 2 Probleme gabs zwar schon vorher aber die treten jetzt wieder häufiger auf...
